When we moved to Oxbow Farm nearly 36 years ago, we made a conscious decision to regenerate and rejuvenate areas of sparse arable land on the farm, creating habitats for all manner of wildlife. We dug a lake and planted a 17-acre wood of hawthorn, oak, and other native species.
